Gridrun Support
Help with playing Gridrun, upgrades, saved games and settings.
How to play
Drag pieces from the tray onto the 8 × 8 board. Fill a whole row or column to clear it. When you have placed all three pieces, you get three new ones. The game ends when none of your pieces fits on the board. Each game starts on a small picture; the first pieces you get fit it, so look for the gaps.
Levels and upgrades
Clearing lines fills the level bar. Each level-up lets you pick one of three upgrades, and your next turn scores ×3. Upgrades marked Common turn up often; Uncommon and Rare ones less often. Tap an upgrade's icon above the board to see what it does. Tools such as Rescue and New Pieces work once, from the buttons under the tray.
Lucky hands
Now and then the game deals a hand that fits the board especially well. You will know when it pays off.
Continue a game
Gridrun saves your game after every move. Open the app and choose Continue on the home screen to pick up where you left off.
Settings
Open Settings from the gear on the home screen to turn sound effects and vibration on or off, hide the faces on the blocks, or show a small shape on each block colour, which helps if the colours are hard to tell apart. Gridrun follows Reduce Motion in iOS Settings → Accessibility.
Resetting your stats
In Settings, choose Reset stats and tap again to confirm. This clears your best score and history on this iPhone. Deleting Gridrun also removes them.
No account needed
Gridrun has no account, advertising, purchases or tracking, and works offline. It can send anonymous gameplay statistics to help improve the game; turn them off in Settings → Share anonymous usage.
