Gridrun Privacy Policy
Effective for Gridrun 1.0 and later, updated 7 October 2026
Gridrun is a block puzzle game that runs on your iPhone. It has no account, advertising, purchases, tracking, or developer-operated backend. It can send anonymous gameplay statistics and crash reports, which you can turn off at any time.
Anonymous usage statistics
To learn how the game is played and make it better, Gridrun sends a few anonymous events through TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused analytics service: when a game starts and ends (with its score, level, lines cleared and length), which upgrade you pick, when you continue a game, whether you finish or skip How to play, and when a lucky hand appears. TelemetryDeck also records basic technical information such as the app version, iOS version and device model.
If Gridrun crashes, it also sends a short anonymous crash report the next time you open it, taken from the diagnostics Apple provides to apps: the app version, iOS version and device model, the kind of crash, and where in Gridrun's code it happened. It contains nothing from your phone outside Gridrun and is used only to fix the problem.
These statistics and crash reports are not linked to you: there is no name, email, account or advertising identifier, and TelemetryDeck hashes its device identifier so it cannot be traced back to you. They are not used for tracking or advertising, and they are never sold or shared. Read TelemetryDeck's privacy policy.
To stop sending both, open Settings in Gridrun and turn off Share anonymous usage.
Local data
Gridrun stores your settings, your stats (such as your best score and recent scores) and your game in progress on your device, so you can continue a game and see your progress. This information stays on your iPhone.
Deleting data
You can reset your stats in Gridrun's Settings. Deleting Gridrun removes all of its locally stored data.
Children
Gridrun is suitable for all ages and does not collect personal information from anyone, including children; the anonymous statistics above contain none.
Changes
If Gridrun's data practices change, this policy and the App Store privacy information will be updated before the changed version is distributed.
